Joey Barnett

While being a part of the Omidyar Network team has been an outstanding opportunity to engage with brilliant individuals who prioritize impact, it is the wider ecosystem we bring together that is most inspiring to me. Being in relationship with ON’s partners at the nexus of technology and socioeconomic, multicultural inclusion has allowed me to continuously improve the framework with which I want to approach the work I do, both at ON and beyond. I come to the organization as a native of agricultural central California, but with an eclectic background in academia, entertainment, and for-profit business, and yet I feel consistently welcomed by the ON team to experiment in partnership with this broader community, bringing all of my background(s) and perspectives to the table.
