Jamaal Glenn is a principal at Omidyar Network. In this role, he sources, structures, and conducts due diligence on investments and works with the organization’s strategic and funder partners. 

Jamaal is the founder and CEO of JG Holdings, an investment and advisory firm and a professor at New York University and the City University of New York. Previously, Jamaal was a director at Schmidt Futures, where he led the organization’s venture capital investment practice. His previous professional experience includes founding and selling a digital media startup, investing more than $50 million in technology startups, and working at companies such as Google and J.P. Morgan.

Jamaal received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and bachelor’s degrees in finance and journalism from the University of Missouri.
