Aviva Aminova serves as general counsel at Omidyar Network. In this role, Aviva oversees the legal affairs of Omidyar Network and provides counsel on legal issues, including governance, investments, grantmaking, and general operations.

Previously, Aviva was an associate at the law firm Fenwick & West LLP, where she advised technology startup companies on angel and venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She also provided pro bono legal support to local nonprofits and individuals seeking Violence Against Women Act visas.

Aviva holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was an editor of the Yale Law Journal and the Yale Law and Policy Review. She also received a B.A. in economics and political science from Stanford University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
