Mon Hayden

Mon Hayden serves as senior generalist, operations at Omidyar Network. In this role, Mon manages operations for our San Francisco office, and provides grant making system support at the intersection of our Programs and Operations teams.

Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Mon served as a senior program director with uAspire, where she hired, managed, and trained staff to support thousands of high school and college students across California. Mon helped to establish and grow the organization’s Bay Area office, implemented team culture initiatives and staff policies, and designed text-based advising resources for students and staff. Earlier in her career, Mon provided direct service to students and families as a college affordability advisor at uAspire and a teaching fellow at Citizen Schools.

Mon holds an M.Ed. in education, policy, and management from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in psychology and education from Bates College.
