As senior strategic communications manager at Omidyar Network, Nicole oversees the firm’s external engagement and narrative work on topics related to pluralism and belonging. Additionally, she helps to communicate the brand externally by managing digital assets, social media, and building storytelling capabilities.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Nicole was the strategy and communications director at Effect.org, a nonprofit supporting education access in India. In this role, she oversaw branding, messaging, and digital growth. With a speciality in visual storytelling, she has produced content in the field on the migrant crisis in Greece, education access in India, education entrepreneurship in Kenya, and anti human trafficking in Nepal.
Prior to her work at Effect.org, Nicole launched an online publication to challenge the media’s portrayal of women by highlighting their global achievements. She began her career in London, working with creative agencies to produce immersive brand experiences for consumer technology, lifestyle, and fashion brands.
Nicole received a B.S. (Hons.) in psychology from the University of Reading.
