Nicole Allred serves as a senior manager at Omidyar Network. In this role, Nicole leads narrative change, cultural strategy, and strategic communications that cultivate a more inclusive and equitable technology ecosystem. She brings thirteen years of cross-sectoral experience crafting narratives that deepen connection, empathy, and possibility.
Prior to Omidyar Network, she led communications and visual storytelling at human rights nonprofits across the Global South. Nicole has also worked across the technology and fashion sectors, using neuroscience insights to create immersive brand experiences. Throughout her career, she has leveraged her psychology degree to anchor projects in an understanding of the unconscious patterns shaping human behavior.
Nicole earned a B.Sc. in psychology from University of Reading. She is a managing partner at Pop Culture Collaborative, which brings together artists, cultural strategists, and funders to transform the narrative landscape in America. She is also organizing to launch the first NAACP chapter in Whatcom County, WA, and is founder of Black to the Outdoors, a group building belonging for people of color exploring nature.
