Corey S. Williams-Allen serves as Chief of Staff, Programs at Omidyar Network.  In this role, he will serve as the strategic partner who manages projects to advance firm priorities on behalf of the SVP, oversees logistics for the Associates Program, and partners closely with representatives of our programmatic focus areas on planning, budgeting, and internal communications.

Corey is a seasoned strategy and operations professional known for his ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful results. Throughout his career, Corey consistently demonstrated a strong track record as a resourceful problem-solver, adept at building coalitions with diverse stakeholders across academia, government, and business. Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Corey worked at Google from April 2017 to January 2024 as strategy and operations professional in Government Affairs and Public Policy, Payments and Finance organizations.

Corey began his career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the Clarence Jupiter Fellowship for Development.  While at MIT from 2006-2013, he served as the philanthropic lead for the MIT Energy Initiative, a $450M research initiative led by Ernest J. Moniz, the 14th US Secretary of Energy.  Following MIT, Corey partnered with two close friends to launch a few ventures in the Philippines — ultimately returning to the US in late 2013 to work in the Obama Administration as an advisor to Secretary Moniz in the newly created Office of Secretarial Boards and Councils.

Corey holds his MA and BA from Boston College and will reside in Washington, DC.  In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time with his family and close friends.
