Alexis is a senior manager on the strategic communications team at Omidyar Network. She oversees the firm’s media engagement and narrative work on topics related to shaping a new economic paradigm and building the power of working people.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Alexis served as national spokesperson and rapid response coordinator on the Warren for President campaign. In this role, she worked to expand positive news coverage at the national and state level, and worked across the campaign’s communications, digital, and policy teams to create viral social media content and drive storylines. As digital press secretary for the Office of US Senator Elizabeth Warren, Alexis focused on translating complex policy into approachable digital content. Previously, she worked at Albright Stonebridge Group, where she developed and executed strategic communications and political engagement in her role as communications director for Dr. Madeleine Albright.
Alexis holds a B.A., cum laude, in political science and print journalism from American University, where she was a recipient of the Presidential Merit Scholarship. She is also a Truman National Security Project Partner.
