Alexis Krieg

Alexis is a director on the programs team at Omidyar Network. She oversees the firm’s editorial partnerships with media organizations, journalists, and creators. She also established and manages the Reporters in Residence program. She serves as an in-house expert on narrative change strategies amid the constantly shifting media and information landscape.

Previously, Alexis supported Omidyar Network’s efforts to reimagine capitalism, managing media and grantee engagement related to shaping a new economic paradigm and building the power of working people. Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Alexis served as national spokesperson and rapid response coordinator on a leading presidential primary campaign and worked as a digital press secretary in the US Senate. She also spent several years advising former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright as her director of communications.

Alexis holds a B.A., cum laude, in political science and print journalism from American University, where she was a recipient of the Presidential Merit Scholarship.
