As an associate at Omidyar Network, Vaishant conducts research and analysis to inform the programmatic portfolio. Vaishant will work with the team to actively engage across our investment and stakeholder network to reimagine critical systems and the ideas that govern them.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Vaishant led strategic initiatives at the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation – a policy center housed at Georgetown University. In his role, Vaishant crafted the Center’s unique approach, managed fundraising efforts, and worked across impact areas to implement the strategic vision of leadership.
Vaishant began his career in management consulting. As an associate consultant at Capco, Vaishant built strategies to increase revenue for financial services clients. He also worked with social enterprises on financial analysis, market-entry, and digital strategy as a member of the impact consulting practice. Before that, Vaishant worked with the Albright Stonebridge Group, a Commercial Diplomacy firm, conducting international market research and geopolitical analysis for Fortune 500 firms.
Vaishant graduated from American University with a major in International Development and a minor in Finance. Raised in Rhode Island, Vaishant’s passion for social impact and policy stems from time spent in India during his childhood.
