Tui Shaub

Principal, Strategic Engagement and Research

As a principal of Strategic Engagement and Research within the strategy group and the office of the CEO, Tui’s work is about both sense-making and (re)search to understand what’s going on in the world around us and to expand our networks and practices for learning why and how change happens.

Tui has been a commercial photographer, experiential marketer for the BBC and other UK institutions, the marketing head for built environment initiatives in the Mayor of London’s office and the Royal Institute of British Architects, and a long-form journal editor (Prospect, World Affairs, and Noema). Prior to coming to Omidyar Network, she co-directed the Transformations of the Human program at the Berggruen Institute, bringing together philosophers, artists, technologists, and academics to grapple with the philosophical stakes of AI and biotech technologies.

Tui holds a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy, and History from Birkbeck College, University of London and received her M.A. in U.S. Studies: history and politics at University College London.
