As senior manager on the intellectual capital team, Yasemin works on Omidyar Network’s strategy, research, impact, and learning agendas across regions and initiatives.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network in 2015, Yasemin worked at J.P. Morgan in London for 11 years, most recently as executive director of J.P. Morgan’s Social Finance business. While with the firm, she built a market-leading research platform for impact investment, advised clients on funding vehicles for their social and environmental goals, covered the credit derivatives market through the financial crisis, and analyzed hedge fund performance.
Yasemin earned a Master of Science with merit in financial mathematics from King’s College London and received a B.A. in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania. She has also served on advisory boards for research and strategy with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, World Economic Forum, and the UK’s Department for International Development.
