As a member of the Human Capital team in London, Penny provides direct support to its portfolio of entrepreneurs, with a focus on talent development, organizational change, and executive coaching.
Penny has over 20 years of experience working in high-growth and fast-paced entrepreneurial industries including e-commerce, software, gaming, and teleservices. Penny was an original team member of ProFlowers.com, where she helped build its $600 million business from the ground up, including guiding the organization through its IPO and multiple acquisitions. Additionally, Penny worked as an adjunct professor of Strategic Human Resources at California State San Marcos, has served as a board member for the Center for Community Services focusing on domestic violence, and has volunteered for many other nonprofit organizations.
Penny graduated from the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University. She is also a certified professional coach, having studied at the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara.
