Greg leads Omidyar Network’s external communications strategy and develops programs that promote issues of importance for the firm. In this role, he manages media relations, both for traditional and new media, and spearheads the organization’s outbound marketing and communications plans.
Greg brings years of corporate communications and not-for-profit experience to Omidyar Network. Prior to joining the organization in 2010, he spent more than a decade with Hewlett Packard, serving as director of worldwide brand communications for HP’s imaging and printing group and manager of worldwide public relations for the company’s consumer business. Previously, Greg was vice president with Armanasco Public Relations, an affiliate of Hill & Knowlton, and managed accounts in the land use and development, agriculture, education, tourism, and nonprofit sectors.
Greg earned an M.A. in public affairs from Washington State University and a B.A. in history and political science from Willamette University.
