Emily is an analyst at Omidyar Network where she supports the sourcing and evaluation of for-profit and nonprofit education investments in Latin America.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Emily worked as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company where she provided strategic consulting services on growth strategy, organizational redesign, and procurement transformation. While at McKinsey, she led an effort to restructure a scholarship program to ensure its financial sustainability and helped launch Generation, a program of McKinsey Social Initiative, which aims to train and place disconnected youth in promising careers. Emily gained experience in the public and nonprofit sectors as an intern in the White House Office of Management and Administration and through work in Nicaragua on the design and facilitation of reproductive health education workshops.
Emily graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a B.S. in international relations and politics and a B.S. in policy and management. She also studied abroad at the Universidad de Santiago in Chile.
