As part of the global Tax Justice Network, Tax Justice Network-Africa (TJN-A) connects and collaborates with 29 member organizations in 16 African countries to promote equitable tax systems and public awareness of tax issues. TJN-A’s efforts focus on research, policy advocacy, awareness, and capacity building, as well as partnership and networking across Africa. Its website serves as a forum for civil society organizations, government, media, and unions to discuss tax-related issues.
One of the only organizations of its kind, TJN-A’s leading work on tax justice and illicit financial flows has led to important policy changes and lasting local impact. The network’s broad reach across many sectors has been catalytic in Africa and at the global level, advancing citizen awareness, sustainable development, and democratic governance.
